AuthAI for Mac

The ambient clinical scribe and prior-auth compliance copilot — in a floating widget that lives right over your EHR.

Download for Mac

macOS · Apple Silicon  ·  ~5 MB  ·  .dmg

Installing

Get set up in under a minute

1

Download & open the .dmg

Click the button above, then double-click the downloaded AuthAI-mac.dmg.

2

Drag AuthAI to Applications

In the window that opens, drag the AuthAI icon onto the Applications folder.

3

First launch: right-click → Open

Open Applications, right-click AuthAI → Open, then confirm. (This one-time step is only needed because the app isn't notarized yet — a normal double-click works every time after.)

4

Sign in & grant access

Sign in through your browser (no password is typed into the app). When prompted, allow Microphone (for the scribe) and Accessibility (so AuthAI can see the note on screen).

If macOS says "AuthAI can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software," that's expected before notarization — just right-click the app and choose Open instead of double-clicking.
Using AuthAI

Once it's running

Summon the widget

Press A anytime to open the floating nook — it stays on top of your EHR.

🎙

Record a visit

Pick the patient, hit Start visit recording, and talk naturally. AuthAI listens ambiently and drafts the note for you.

Review & approve

On stop, AuthAI writes the note in your style, checks it against the payer's medical-necessity criteria, flags any gaps with suggested fixes, and lets you approve in one tap.

Requirements

  • Operating system macOS 12+
  • Chip Apple Silicon (M1+)
  • Download size ~5 MB
  • Format .dmg installer
  • Account AuthAI sign-in

Troubleshooting

"Can't be opened" on first launch
Right-click the app → Open (one time only).
Nothing happens on ⌘⇧A
Grant Accessibility in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then fully quit and reopen AuthAI.
